Registration Details

All teams registering and participating in SOCAL State Cup 2027 must be registered with US Club Soccer and have valid US Club Soccer Competitive player pass cards for the 2026/27 season.

State Cup Team Registration Fees:

7 v 7 – $995
9 v 9 – $1,100
11 v 11 – $1,295

Youngers Registration is OPEN from September 21, 2026 – November 15, 2026.

Referee Fees are NOT included in the Registration Fee. Referee Fees are paid in cash on the field.

Division Descriptions (Youngers Only)

Super Cup – Pre-Elite, National 1 League (U13-U14), Flight 1, Outside Leagues

All Pre-Elite or National 1 League and Flight one teams must apply for Super Cup. Only Flight 1 teams with a PPG 1.0 or below may petition to play down in level.

Elite Cup – Flight 2 Divisions

All Flight 2 teams must apply to play Elite Cup. Teams with a 2.5 PPG or higher can apply to play up in Super Cup (or may be moved up by the State Cup Committee). Flight 2 teams with a PPG 1.0 or below may petition to play down in level.

Classic Cup – Flight 3 Divisions

All Flight 3 teams must apply to play Classic Cup. Teams with a 2.5 PPG or higher can apply to play up in Elite Cup (or may be moved up by the State Cup Committee). Flight 3 teams with a PPG 1.0 or below may petition to play down in level.

Premier Cup – Flight 4 Divisions and Recreational

All Flight 4 teams must apply to play Premier Cup. Teams with a 2.5 PPG or higher can apply to play up in Classic Cup (or may be moved up by the State Cup Committee).

Team applications will be reviewed by the State Cup Committee for correct placement and to eliminate teams from playing down from their correct level of competition. Teams may be moved from the division that they apply to if the division is incorrect and does not match from what the team played in the fall.

Teams may play UP in birth year for State Cup should they wish to do so. However, any team that wishes to play UP in State Cup MUST register for the Super Cup Division of the age group that they are playing up in.

Drop and Forfeit Fine Policy

Teams not registered and paid by November 15th will not be accepted or bracketed.

November 15th – December 1st – No Refunds

Schedule Release through End of Event Competition Dates – No Refund and $1,000.00 Drop Fine plus all referee fees.

The Petition to Play Down in Youngers State Cup is OPEN until November 15, 2026 and must come directly from club DOC to State Cup Commissioner.

Team applications will be reviewed by the State Cup Committee for correct placement and to eliminate teams from playing down from their correct level of competition. The State Cup Committee reserves the right to make changes that are in the best interest of the competition.

​All teams will still play based on their 2026/27 age group and will play on the same-size field as the fall 2026 season (unless you choose to play up in another age group where the field size is different). Ex: The U12 team playing 9v9 registers to play U13 11v11 for State Cup).

Feb 6-7, 2027 Elimination Rounds Begin

Feb 13-14, 2027 Presidents Weekend/Super Bowl (no games)

Feb 20-21, 2027 7v7/9v9 Elimination Rounds Continue

Feb 20-21, 2027 Younger 11v11 Pool Play Begins

Feb 27-28, 2027 7v7/9v9 Semi-Finals/Finals weekend

Feb 27-28, 2027 Youngers 11v11 Final Round of Pool Play

Mar 6-7, 2027 Youngers 11v11 Elimination Rounds Begin

Mar 13-14, 2027 Youngers 11v11 Semi-Finals/Finals weekend

 

All dates are tentative based on weather that may delay or postpone games and change playdates

Games will be played at the premier venues in SOCAL, including Galway Downs, Ontario Sports Empire, Silverlakes, So Cal Sports Complex, and Surf Sports Park.
